Butterscotch Brownies

Bear's Anecdote - A friend of mine from Huntsville, Alabama (Tim P. - It isn't good to give full names on the internet.) gave me a great stack of recipes. Here is one of them.

  1. Hmmm. Something seems to be missing here.
  2. Greased 8-inch pan.
  3. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

A note about brownie pans: Brownie recipes always do better when using VERY shiny aluminum brownie pans. Shiny aluminum brownie pans do not accept or transmit heat as well as oxidized ones. So, the bottoms of the brownies are a bit more protected from the direct heat of the oven burners. Dull, oxidized brownie pans will lead to brownies with burnt undersides. Bear has not had much luck with steel brownie pans, either.
