Clarie Kelley's Fun Cow Pies

Bear's Anecdote - Years ago, Bear's mother sent Jodie and Bear a box of recipes. Here is one from the box.

• 2 c. milk chocolate chips
• 1 tblsp. shortning
• 1/2 c. raisins
• 1/2 c. slivered almonds

1. In a double boiler over simmering water, melt chocolate chips and shortning.
2. Remove from heat and stir in raisins and nuts.
3. Drop by tblsp onto waxed paper.
4. Chill until ready to serve.
